"I used Movers Direct in September of 2015 and shamefully, have not taken the time before now to let you know what an amazing job the gentlemen did for me. We had a very difficult situation involving a very steep driveway. The gentlemen worked tirelessly all day and all night long(literally, they were not done until morning) to transfer our furniture and belongings from their larger truck to a smaller transfer vehicle that could maneuver the steep driveway. It was hot, the hours were long and the conditions were less than optimum but I never heard one word of complaint from any of the young men at any time. They were courteous, professional and were all hard workers. All of our belongings were delivered in perfect condition. I am beyond pleased, from making the initial contact to the last piece of furniture being placed.

"We could not have been more pleased. We liked the idea of a set fee instead of an hourly cost. The office person was terrific too! Lamar and his 2 helpers were absolutely wonderful. They were professional packers, brought all of the boxes, etc and nothing was broken or damaged when they unpacked. They put things away and removed all of the packing material. Since there was an issue with 10 inches of snow in Asheville, when they left Augusta, they took the secured truck elsewhere and drove when it was safe: they unloaded and unpacked in very cold weather.

When my flight was late arriving in PA, they were easy to contact and worked with my schedule. Nothing was too much trouble. After the move, if I was unable to find any item, I called Timothy and he promptly replied and remembered where everything was and in exactly what box. And nothing was stolen from me. I highly recommend this company and will only use their services in the future.

"Emptied storage units and home, took two big trucks to move it all. They were very conscientious about my belongings. Worked with me on where to place all the boxes and the belongings. Also moved my 2nd car, which other companies were unable to accommodate. Even showed up early for their appointment.

"The guys arrived on-time and were very courteous and professional. They loaded us up quickly and got on their way to our new location which is 475 miles away. They were at our home on-time the next morning and got us unloaded before noon. Nothing was broken in the move. They even moved some furniture around for us until it was positioned just right! They took care to not damage the walls or track up the floors in our new home. I would highly recommend Movers Direct!

"Finding myself alone, I was facing a move from Nashville to Chattanooga, with very limited funds, and never having had to do this before. I was quite intimidated. As anyone does, I began researching on the internet, only to become even more concerned. I decided to purchase a membership with Angie's List. Best decision I have ever made! I found Movers Direct, and have thanked The Lord daily ever since! Christie instantly put me at ease and I knew right away I could trust her and her company. She listened patiently to my situation, could relate to me, and completely understood. I had spoken to several other companies, so when I spoke to Christie, I knew immediately I had found a very unique company. I am a school teacher and as such, am very perceptive. Christie was honest, forthright, upfront, and truly did care. I knew I was dealing with a company and people whom I could trust. When Monday morning arrived, Tommy called when he and Daniel were 30 minutes away. The conversation immediately put me at ease! When they arrived, I could not have been happier! These two gentlemen were honest, diligent, and 100% trustworthy! They wrapped my furniture as though it were for themselves. They took extra-special care of each item and I had not one thing happen to anything whatsoever. Even a box of papers received a white-glove treatment! My belongings were moved into a climate-controlled storage unit. Tommy and Daniel removed the moving blankets and wrapped each piece of furniture in three-ply cushioned paper before placing them into storage in the most professional arrangement I could have imagined! I have no worries whatsoever that my belongings are perfectly safe! Tommy and Daniel arrived at 8:00 a.m and worked like troopers until 11:00 p.m. Their energy was on top all day long! They took spectacular care of the very last item just as they did of the very first! I have never written a review before. This is my first. I felt compelled to write this because these two gentlemen, along with Christie, the owner, treated me like family and the sense of trust and confidence was clearly evident from the moment I spoke with her. The Lord knew how terrified I was, and blessed me with the most wonderful blessing throughout this entire process! I will be moving into my own place in a few months. When I do, I will be calling Christie again. I look forward to seeing Tommy and Daniel again, as I will request them to move me yet again. Should I ever need to move after that, I can assure you I will be calling Movers Direct. If you are feeling uncertain about your decision in choosing a moving company, call Christie and see for yourself. This call will be the best decision you will make throughout your entire moving process. You can count on it! While you are talking to her, ask for Daniel and Tommy. You will not have to worry about anything whatsoever.

"Picked up my belongings and delivered them in blazing speed.

"Christy is very professional and easy to work with. The movers arrived when they were scheduled to do so and delivered the final shipment in CA as promised.

"Arrived at 8:00 a.m as arranged. They packed the majority of my belongings in my upstate New York home, consisting of: 3 bedroom home, den, living room, porch, kitchen, 2-car garage; loaded their moving truck and drove to south Florida. I drove with a friend. We both arrived in south Florida a day earlier than previously planned, and as a result were able to meet at the new apartment on Saturday morning, 11/20 at 9:00 a.m to make delivery of the belongings. Although the new apartment is on the 2nd floor, with one long and one shorter staircase, they cleverly used the lift on the back of their truck to form an off-loading platform that cut half of the 1st staircase in half for fewer stairs needed to be climbed with heavy items. My moving team consisted of two men and one woman and they each had a work ethic seldom seen these days anywhere! I think they took a total of two 10 minute breaks the entire day to dehydrate and eat a bite of lunch! They completely set up my master bedroom and cheerfully carried a few extra items up from my car that I couldn't lift. They were southern charm and professionalism, and we actually hugged goodbye. They were 110% honest, competent,and dedicated to being the best moving company anywhere! If I could give them 10 stars, I would! "We moved out of an 1800 square foot loft on the third floor of an old industrial building. Our movers had to use an elevator during a busy workday. The tricky part is that we have a very tight spiral staircase to the loft which was furnished with huge leather furniture. The furniture had to be strapped and lowered over the loft balcony. This was done without damaging the wall or the furniture. Also, the centerpiece was a 300 pound armoire that is an antique and there is not a scratch on it! After the loft was emptied they drove to a storage locker and emptied that. Danny, Kyle and Tim were professional, courteous, hard working and always smiling. They were a pleasure to work with!

"Very well. The two people that moved me were Andrea and Daniel. They were so courteous, and careful with my items. I ended up having to go to the hospital the day of the move. Andrea and Daniel came back the next day to finish packing because of this unexpected event. All of my items arrived on time, undamaged, and everything was placed where I wanted it. "This was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Christy provided a quote over the phone, it was fantastic compared to other quotes for a private long-distance move (only my things on the truck, straight from pickup to delivery). They were able to get me in on a Friday-Sunday schedule, and managed to arrive on Saturday at the destination (after checking if that would work for us, and it did!).
